Also referred to also as “”BTTV”” or “”Better Twitch TV”” by the community BetterTTV aims to add new features to Twitch’s website.Here’s some of the features that we’ll add to chat:
- Extra emoticons – BetterTTV’s global and per-channel emoticons
- Highlighting of Username Word/Phrase
- Word/Phrase blacklist
- Chat lines are split to make reading easier
- Check out deleted links and messages
- Unban all chats that are banned by using massunban (channel owners only)

- Options can be changed through the chat settings or by clicking on the BetterTTV options from the dropdown menu for users on Twitch.
